North County Flying Machines (NCFM) was founded by Derek Van Choice & Harris Nelson in 2001.  It is a manufacturing company rooted in ultra-high speed and aerodynamically efficient R/C gliders, designed by Harris Nelson.

NCFM was acquired in 2007 by a Matin Taraz, a good friend and owner of the cutting-edge R/C manufacturing company, Ubercraft.com.
